Six water main replacements are currently underway in the Leawood subdivision, with Diaz Construction having completed approximately 75% of the pipe installation. Work on S. Marshall Drive and S. Lamar Drive has been completed, and construction is progressing through the remaining project areas.

Current project status:

• S. Marshall Drive: Pipe installation is complete. 
• W. Burgundy Drive: Pipe installation is complete. 
• S. Newland Street: Pipe installation is complete. 
• S. Nixon Court: Pipe installation is scheduled for the week of September 7. 
• S. Otis Court: Will be the final area of pipe installation.

Final milling and asphalt overlay is anticipated to be completed in the next month. Affected residents will be notified by Diaz Construction before their street is milled.
