The City of Littleton's 2026 collection event runs Monday, October 26, through Tuesday, November 10. Residents can drop off leaves Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 7 am to 1 pm at A1 Organics in Englewood.

The cost is $5 per vehicle per visit for leaf recycling only, including vehicles with large loads, trucks and trailers. To participate, residents must provide proof of residency: either a driver’s license or utility bill. Payment is accepted by cash or credit card only; personal checks are not accepted.

A few guidelines will help keep the drop-off process moving smoothly:

  • Leaves only: Loads containing other yard waste — including limbs, branches, grass or soil — will be charged the normal rate of $16 per cubic yard.
  • Plastic bags: Residents must empty plastic leaf bags and take the bags with them when they leave.
  • Brown craft bags: Paper bags are accepted as long as they are not mixed with branches or other yard waste. Bags must contain no tape, twine or plastic.
  • Arrival time: The last loads will be accepted 30 minutes before closing to allow enough time for customers to enter and move through the site, particularly if there is a line.

District residents are reminded to rake and collect leaves regularly throughout the fall. Don’t blow or rake leaves into the street, which can clog drains and contribute to street flooding. Keep leaves on the property until they’re ready for collection, or take advantage of opportunities like the collection event.
