With historically low snowpack, Denver Water's collection and service areas continue to experience severe drought conditions. Every drop counts, so be sure to follow Denver Water's mandatory watering schedule and let the weather work in your favor.

Customers may water only on their assigned two days each week. If Mother Nature provides rain, skip one—or even both—of your watering days to help conserve water.

Assigned watering days:

• Even-numbered addresses: Sunday and Thursday
• Odd-numbered addresses: Wednesday and Saturday
• Multifamily, commercial, HOA and government properties: Tuesday and Friday

Remember to follow Denver Water's annual summer watering rules:

• Water only between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m.
• Never irrigate while it is raining or during high winds.
• Avoid overspray onto sidewalks, streets and driveways, and don't allow water to pool in gutters.
• Repair leaking sprinkler systems within 10 days.
• Use a hose with a shut-off nozzle when washing your vehicle.

During a drought, trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and vegetables may be watered any day using a hand-held hose or low-volume, non-spray irrigation (such as drip systems).

• To reduce water loss from evaporation, watering is not allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
• This helps keep essential plants alive while still conserving water during hot, dry conditions.
